Christmas Time

I have been super busy trying to finish up all Christmas pants sets by December 1st. I am still a bit behind, but I will be working all day today and tomorrow to try to finish up.  Here are a few that I have finished.

I finished up this set for Carter to wear this month through Thanksgiving and love how it turned out. I searched everywhere for the perfect pumpkin design.

Boy Pant Sets

I have had a few customers ask me about pant sets for boys. I was needing to finish up some winter clothing projects for Carter so I finished up a few boy pants sets yesterday to show customers.  They run the same amount as the ruffle pant sets.  These were just some random fabrics I had lying around, but I have most gingham colors fabric to match applique shirts.  The dinosaur is a new applique I purchased. I wanted  it to match the pants. It is from ww.appliquecafe.com.

Ribbon name towel

A cute name towel for a little girl's Baptism with the date of her Baptism on the bottom!

I picked  up this ribbon up at Hobby Lobby because it was 100% polyster just like the thread  I use so if you like to use bleach on your towels it's okay because the ribbon and thread will keep their color. And yes, I tested it out. I bleached the ribbon twice and it stayed true pink and lime green.

Baby Boy Set

I found these cute hooded towels at Tuesday Mornings and bought a few to monogram on. They are really soft and thick.  For a matching baby set I did a long sleeve onesie with a blue minky dot applique to match the towel. I think it looks really cute together.

A custom diaper bag for a friend.  These take a bit of time to make, but they look so fabulous once finished!

Baby Bibs

I did a girl version of these bibs that turned out really cute, but a customer wanted a boy version.  I always get stumped on boy stuff because I always want to use pink purple asmy go to colors, so boy stuff takes a little more effort.  I think  these turned out cute though while staying boyish!

Applique Shirts

Here are a few non-holiday related shirts that I did lately.  I love the fabrics used for the tea pot. They are  coordinating polka dots fabric and are great for fall items.

Even though these applique name shirts are extra work, I just love how they turn out. All of the different polka dot colors really make the shirt stand out.

I also tried out a new font. The name is in the two color Dots font. I only used one thread color on the name because Iwanted it to show up, but you can make the dots on the letters a different thread color.  The Dots font is from http://www.8clawsandapaw.com/.

Thanksgiving/Fall

I knowI am jumping the gun and putting Thanksgiving  before Halloween. :) I promise Halloween is coming soon, but I finished these shirts  first and had to post since they turned out so cute. This is my new turkey applique and I am in love!  I also got a chance to try out a new font.  It is the Mandingo font and is really cute for boys and girls.

The Mickey Mouse clubhouse show is in town, so I have been making shirts for some of his biggest  fans!  They will be the cutest mouse fans there!

Backpack and Lunchbox

 Going back to school means time for a new backpack. Cooper really loves backpacks and so he had alot of fun picking out the color he wanted and then the perfect design to go on it. He can't wait for the first day of school to wear it proudy.

I used fine point font with the rocket applique from http://www.planetapplique.com/.  The backpack and lunchbox are  http://www.ohmint.com/ brand.  I love their blanks they are perfect for embroidery. 

After finishing Cooper's backpack carter had to have a  backpack also, so for  his birthday I got him a backpack. He was excited to see his name on it since he usually gets Coopers hand me downs! I used lima bean font. Backpack is http://www.stephenjosephgifts.com/ brand .  For you local folks I picked them up at Kidz Kottage on Dawes, they seem to have the best price in town.

Speciality LSU Bib

This speciality handmade bib was a last minute decision because the applique name was too long to fit on a pre-purchased bib.  It is made with white chenille and purple/gold gingham fabric. I don't usually do team bibs this nice, but I LOVE the way this one came out!

Big Brother

My brother and sister-in law had a baby a couple of weeks ago so I made some things for the baby and a shirt  for the big brother. The big brother loves tractors! I  took the pics with my cell phone so sorry  for the grainy quality of the pics.
