I am no longer selling my creations to the general public. I am taking a break from making my items for sell and am enjoying making them again at my own time and leisure. I will still be posting items that I have made for friends, family and myself but I am not taking anymore customer orders. Sorry for the inconvenience! Thanks to all of my loyal customers who bought from me in the past. I had a lot of fun creating unique embroidery items for you!

Thanks,
Amber

Brother/Sister Crab Shirts

I love it when customers ask me to do things that are out of my comfort zone. I tend to use realistic colors for applique designs and anytime I use colors that are "out of the box" so to speak, I have to ask help from Blaine.  Seriously! Blaine is fabulous at picking out colors that go together! I always ask for his opinion when I can't figure out what colors to use. This time a customer asked for these specific colors and  I think they look fabulous together!

Applique name shirt with  fabulous polka dot fabric! I'm a sucker for polka dots!
Polka dot dress with  name.
I still have a few of  these left, e-mail me to see what  sizes I have left.

More Beach Towels

This beach towel was for Cooper's teacher as a present. By the way today was Cooper's last  day of school, but I let him skip, so he officially is out for the summer!! Woo-hoo!!

And a sneak peak for Jen (the winner of my giveway)!  I am eventually going to get it to you,I promise!! LOL :)

Beach Towels

Every year I embroider beach towels for the boys for the summer.  It keeps them from fighting over which towel is theirs.  This year I found these super cute beach towels from Wal-Mart for only $5.00.  Can't beat that.   I just added their name since the towlels already had such cute designs on them.  I love these towels and think they look similiar to the pottery barn kids monogrammed beach towels for a fraction of  the cost!

Towels for Coopers Class!

Cooper's class is having an end of school party and for the favors I was asked  to do name towels for  the boys (someone else is doing the girls).  I was going to use the same color thread for all of them, but decided to use 3 colors instead and love the different color variations.  We are going to put the rolled up towels in sand buckets with a few sand toys for them to take home at the end of the party. So cute! Now they will  all be set to enjoy their summer at the beach or pool!!
Font is one of my new fonts that I really like for boys things.  It is Whoa Nelly from http://www.8clawsandapaw.com/.  She has a monthly subscription club for $20.00 and you can download as  many fonts as you like for the month.  That means over 350 fonts for $20.00.  Fabulous!!

New Seahorse Applique

When we went to the local Estuarium a while back, I just fell in love with the tiny seahorses.  So when a customer asked for a seahorse design I searched a ton of sites to find  the perfect one.  I tried it out on a t-shirt for a birthday gift and couldn't be more pleased with how cute it turned out!  Name is in Kwekel font.

Refurbished Dresses

A customer brought these A-line dresses to me to refurbish.  They previously had a monogram on them that  was picked out.  I had  to arrange the applique to cover the old monogram marks. The dresses now look brand new and so cute!

Summer outfits for Carter!

I finally had a little break in between orders to finish some of Carter's summer outfits. I am so excited to have found a new way to make lined shorts(Thanks Autumn) that turn out perfect every time! E-mail me for details on the shorts.  They are SUPER simple to make! I still have a few more outfit ideas for him to make, but at least I got a few finished.  Carter has already worn a few of them and he is just the cutest!!

Baby Galore!

This is a huge order for a customer that took every bit of  my imagination to finish it! :)  Boys are fun,but there are just not as many boy designs as girl designs to pick from.  So to think up 10 different boy designs for the bibs took a bit of effort. But I LOVE how they all turned out and Gauge will be one decked out little boy!

Easter Baskets

I don't sell these, but I just had to post because they turned out so darn cute! I took some cheap baskets with liners and took the liners apart at the seams to use as a pattern. I then used the pattern to cut a new liner out of CUTE fabric and sewed it all together. I  also made ties for the bows on the sides out of coordinating fabric. Then I spray painted the baskets brown and let  dry. Lastly I monogrammed the boys name on the front of the liner.  Voila! New Easter baskets! I LOVE how they turned out! I did one for Carter also, I just didn't get a picture of it!

All Boy!!

My sister-in-law came down for the weekend and on Saturday we had an all day sewfest!  She sewed and I embroidered and we managed to get almost five outfits completed for her son.  All of this was in the midst of 6 kids running around in complete chaos! We had a blast though as always and she was very excited with the end result of the outfits!
What a cutie crab!  Applique from http://www.embroidery-boutique.com/
This is the Martha Pullen jon-jon pattern(Martha Pullen's favorite applique book).  I  highly reccomend it for a beginner sewer.  It is fully lined and and is so simple to put together.  Anchor from http://www.embroidery-boutique.com/ and initials in Boyz Are Gross font. I don't make jon-jons for sale, sorry :(  I only make them for my boys and family. I just don't have the time to devote to sewing large orders of them.
Fishing lure with initials from http://www.appliquecafe.com/.  I love the initials hanging off  the lure.  My sister-in-law named all her kids with ABC initials, so no we were not just going with a alphabet theme! LOL :)
Cute sailboat from http://www.sewforum.com/. This was our last  jon-jon that we got cut out and appliqued, but we didn't have time to sew it together.

And for the boys a fishing lure for daddy's little fishing buddy! (Fishing lure from http://www.appliquecafe.com/) It would look really cute with initials hanging off the hooks.

Taylor Applique Font

Here is a preview of the Taylor applique font stitched out. I can't wait to make some brown gingham shorts to match for my son! It will be the beginning of his summer wardrobe. This applique would look really cute in girl colors also.
